Find the source
Every session begins with a thorough physical assessment: movement testing, orthopaedic and neurological screening, and clinical reasoning. No guesswork. Treatment is built directly around what the assessment finds, not a standard protocol.
Relieve the pain
Hands-on techniques (joint mobilisation, soft tissue work, and neurodynamic mobilisation) help calm sensitised tissue responses and restore comfortable movement. Research indicates manual therapy works largely through the nervous system, which is why it can help even long-standing problems that haven't responded to rest.
Rebuild strength and function
Lasting recovery usually takes more than table work. Progressive loading programmes (a well-evidenced approach for tendons and persistent pain) help rebuild the capacity your body needs to stay recovered, not just feel better temporarily.
Understand your pain
For persistent complaints, understanding what is driving your symptoms, and what you can do to influence it, can improve outcomes alongside hands-on work. Less fear, more control, more confident movement. Pain neuroscience education is part of the treatment, not an add-on.
Not sure where to start? Your first session includes a full assessment, and we agree on the best approach together.
